The Ton’s Fall 2015 release includes 16 large stamp sets, a mini stamp set, stand-alone dies, and lots of couture mixes. I’ve listed all the products for you:

I have many cards for you today. My first card uses Fresh Cut Dahlias. I wanted to create a bouquet with lots of masking and stamping. I stamped only the second layers in Spun Sugar and did some watercoloring with Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar. I added shading with the coordinating markers. The leaves were stamped and watercolored with Mowed Lawn. I’m really not that great with watercoloring and/or shading so this is an amateur attempt. I shaded the vase with Hickory Smoke and outside the vase with Antique Linen. Still, I love how it came out so I’m proud of myself for trying! 🙂 Ruby_Day5_01 Ruby_Day5_03 Now for another shaker card. This might be my favorite card from this whole week! I used both the Polka Dot and Holiday Bows sets for this. I stamped and heat embossed the background with Polka Dot in Stampin Up’s Blushing Bride (retired). I used the cute scalloped frame dies from Sunshine Layers to create a shaker card filled with another mix of my own (each one is linked below). The bow was stamped with PTI inks and then covered with lots of Glossy Accents and Zig Wink of Stella Glitter (hard to photograph). The sentiments are from Hey Foxy. Ruby_Day5_04 Ruby_Day5_05 Ruby_Day5_07 Next up I have a set of foiled cards for you, using Rose Background. This took me some time but I was impressed with how they came out. Through some practice, I learned that I was more successful with foiling smaller images or words versus large images like the ones on this stamp. I wanted to try it anyway and am satisfied with how it came out. I have a foiling post coming soon to my blog so feel free to subscribe to my blog if you want to stay updated. Ruby_Day5_09 The basics are that I stamped the background four times on copy paper (masking size A2 areas) with my MISTI and Memento Tuxedo Black ink (Copic-friendly). I made a copy of that using my laser printer onto white cardstock and shaded in parts with a black Copic marker. I used my trimmer to cut the cardstock into 4 A2 pieces and then laminated each one with a sheet of foil with my laminator. I ran it a through a few times, while inserted between a folded piece of copy paper (as Jennifer McGuire shows in her blog). I used dies to cut them smaller than A2 and attached them to white card bases. I didn’t add any sentiments because I think the foiled card looks great on its own. I’ll just add my own notes inside when I send these to friends. Ruby_Day5_12 Ruby_Day5_13 For the last card, I used the negative of the foil! All I did was add a piece of gold glitter cardstock behind it and attached it all to a card base. Be careful, adding adhesive to a foil sheet removes the foil…how do I know this? I ruined my other negatives! 😉 Ruby_Day5_16 Ruby_Day5_17 That’s it for me today! Make sure to visit The Ton, Jessica, and Mayline for more looks at this release!  And don’t forget to leave a comment here and on the other seven blogs for chances to win from the new release! You still have time to go back and leave us love on our earlier posts.
