Then join us for our blog hop on Friday for our mega giveaway! Leave a comment on every hop stop to qualify for a prize, and a random winner will be selected from each blog! Commenting deadline for Friday’s giveaways will be Sunday, Sept. 6 11:59 pm. We will have a total of 12 giveaways for this new release and we’re so excited for you to win! All winners will be announced on Tuesday, Sept. 8 on The Ton’s Blog!

Yesterday, we all showed off the gorgeous Fresh Cut Dahlias, our first stand-alone dies, five unique background stamps, and two couture mixes. Today’s posts from the Design Team highlight four stamp sets: Hey Foxy, Large Peony 1, Large Peony 2, Large Peony 3 and a few more couture mixes! (All new products will be linked Friday).

I only used the large peonies for my cards today. They make for a great focal point! So much can be done with these… colored with pencils, Copic markers, Zig brush pens, watercolors, or even left alone. For the first card, I stamped the peony from Large Peony 1 onto white cardstock with black pigment ink and heat set it with clear embossing powder. I colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. I used my trimmer to cut on the sides and fussy cut around the flower. I finished off the card by attaching some beads with Multi Medium Matte. These cards are never fun to give, but I was happy to keep it simple, using soft colors.

For the second card, I heat set the peony from Large Peony 2 in gold and fussy cut it. I stamped the Marvelous stamp in yellow on my card base and decided to make fun additions to the card with some glitter paper, half a doily, a pearl lace  trim, and the foliage die-cuts from the Peony. The banner and sentiments are from Hey Foxy. All supplies are linked below.

Your sympathy card is just that perfect something when you need to send a note but yet it needs to be done in a caring kind way. You did a fabulous job!

Very pretty! A lot of people don’t think of making sympathy cards, but it definitely means a lot to receive one!
