Coffee Loving Cardmakers Design Team

I’m soo excited to share that I am one of the members for the new Coffee Loving Cardmakers Design Team!

You can read more about me on the blog (and leave comments there on all the new team introductory posts for your chance to win a $10 Starbucks gift card from my friend Jessica).

If you’re visiting me for the first time, then yay, welcome! I’ll add a bit more about myself. Currently, I’m on two other design teams: The Ton and Just Dandy Studio. I’ve been with The Ton since it first debuted in January 2015 (when I was only six months into crafting – thanks, Effie, for taking a chance with me!) and with JDS from September until the end of this month. I have also had the pleasure of being on the Butterfly Reflections Ink DT from April to June of this year and once in a while guest post with the dearest Vanessa. BRI is run by her from home, and their shipping and service is one of the best in the industry (also, you’ll find lots of fun coffee products!)

Other than that, I’m a social worker and will be working full-time soon (insert sad face since that means less crafting time). My most regular posting is on Instagram (seriously, BEST social media platform ever). All my social media links are in the sidebar if you’d like to follow me. 🙂 I love tea, coffee, pretty things, crafty things, writing, handlettering, books, talking about introversion and deep stuff, and posting occasional happy mail or hauls. Once in a while, you’ll see me post quotes because I love words and I think other people just know the best way to say things that I can’t say myself.

ANYWAY, I really don’t chat this much in my posts so let me share a card with you all today. I don’t have a particular ‘style’ yet – you’ll see cards with layers or colors or shakers or flowers and sometimes clean and simple cards. This is my first card that tells a story… I tried to replicate my work/craft space so let me show you my desk first (you can view my organization post here!)

I didn’t create this exact look, of course, but I wanted to use Mama Elephant’s adorable Blogging Buddies. I stamped all the images and cut them with my Brother ScanNCut 2. You can watch my little video here.

I colored all the images with Copic markers and then arranged them to create this adorable scene:

This card tells the story of a crafter’s life (in my case, I have two monitors). I have a coffee cup and a cup of tea with milk (I drink A LOT). There is a bunch of happy mail on the desk because I’m always happily sending and receiving cards from my crafty friends! Lately, I’ve seen people use wood tree slabs as props for their cards so I added one in the picture. The best part is that I tried to draw in my cards in the card itself. Check it out:

I had so much fun with this card because it came from the heart. I added a window to the left because my windows are on the left side of my room. I added Glossy Accents to the monitor, the tea, some envelopes, and the window “glass.”

The “frame” in the back that says “I am loving kindness to all” is something I created on my own, which can be seen here and here. Once I figure some things out, I’ll be sharing a free printable for you all. I hope you enjoyed my post. I can’t wait to share more coffee creations with you during the next few months.

Thank you for visiting and for all the love! ?

Love your little scene.. So adorable. I also like your craft room. Mine is still a work in progress, but hopefully, after Christmas, I can at least have a decent place to sit and reach my supplies.. ♥

What a fun card I see here on your blog, imagine creating your worksplace in stamps, mine would be a card with a pile of papers and a small place to craft…hahaha.
