The Ton’s December Release: Day 1 (+ Giveaways!)

Good morning! Thank you for joining us today as we kick off The Ton’s December 2015 Release! Today, we are introducing Rose Terrace Background Stamp, Grand Bows, and a new line of couture inks plus reinkers. The entire release will be available for order tomorrow, December 8 at 7 a.m. EST!

The Ton Couture Color is our curated collection of dye, hybrid and pigment inks. Our initial color release is made up of 25 dye inks, 4 hybrid inks and 2 pigment inks. Our first ink release is comprised of mainly jewel tones that can be layered over each other or stamped individually. In addition to bright jewel tones, we’ve included a crisp, true black dye ink, a copic friendly black hybrid ink and an all-purpose smooth white pigment ink. We’re also very excited to announce the release of the first ever Rose Gold Pigment ink. Reinkers are also available for all the inks.

**GIVEAWAYS** We will have a total of 8 giveaways for this release, and we’re so excited for you to win! Leave a comment on The Ton Blog and the Design Team blogs today and tomorrow for your chance to win one of these prizes. One person will be randomly chosen by each of the Design Team members to win a $10 gift code and one person will be chosen from the comments left on The Ton Blog to win a $25 gift code. The commenting period will close on December 11 at 11.59 p.m. EST. Winners will be announced on The Ton blog on December 13. Here is a list of our blogs (in no particular order):

Rubeena (you are here)

My first card features Grand Bows. If you are a fan of Holiday Bows, I know you’ll love this set. I masked when stamping the large bows in various dye inks. I created a cluster and left some white space in the center for my sentiment. It was such a simple but pretty design that I ended up making eight of these. I stamped the sentiment from Holiday Lyrics with VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink and heat set it with clear embossing powder for a nice textured look. To finish it off, I added a strip of silver glitter cardstock. For some of the cards, I actually added some dots using Kirarina White marker and Wink of Stella Clear Glitter for the remaining.

My second card features Rose Terrace Background. Using my MISTI, I mounted the rubber stamp and colored one cluster of roses and leaves with distress ink markers. I stamped it on watercolor paper. I stamped maybe two or three times for this look. I added a touch of watercoloring and darkened some areas directly with a distress marker. The sentiment is from Shoe Wardrobe 2d. Ed. Solid. I added a strip of gold glitter (which I achieved with Scor-tape and extra fine gold glitter) and a strip of red cardstock.

Be sure to visit the rest of the DT members for more inspiration and to increase your chances of winning. Come back tomorrow for the rest of the release reveal, and it’ll ALL be available for order, too! Have a wonderful week!
