Now for the fun part 🙂 I am also on The Ton‘s DT and we just released some really fabulous tea/coffee sets. I used them for today’s project. I stamped the teacup outline from Tea Party with a Copic-friendly black dye ink. I stamped the half-saucer stamp and drew in the rest with a Copic pen. I used various reds and beige Copic markers to color the cup and saucer. I stamped the sentiment using VersaFine Onyx Black. I added strips of Scor-tape around the outline of the card front and then sprinkled gold glitter. I tapped off all the excess glitter and then matted down the piece onto my cardbase. This card is 4 bar size so it’s smaller than the usual A2. I just thought it would make for a cute card to give to a friend.
My next card is very similar but just using different colors for the cup and added strips of gold at the bottom part of the card only.
*You can check out my release posts for The Ton and comment (by tonight Dec 11 at 11:59 pm EST) for your chance to win one of eight prizes: Day 1 and Day 2. You can also check out details about the Ellen Hutson sale here.
***GIVEAWAY: I will be doing a giveaway of this stamp set for those who leave comments on any of my posts for the Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. Be a subscriber for an extra entry and let me know! 🙂
