Now for my cards 🙂 I’ve saved my cards using Haute Wedding Dress for tomorrow. Today, I focused on the beautiful Wild Morning Glories and created six cards. I thought it would make for some beautiful backgrounds so I used different color combinations. For all of them, I stamped the solid stamp in various colors (using one or two colors for each card). Then, I heat embossed the outlines for some of them in gold. I stamped first leaf layer in green, black, or Rose Gold ink and masked off the Wild Morning Glories with masking tape so that the leaves would be behind the flowers.
I used the Winnie & Walter dies to cut out the word dies and added words in black or gold glitter. They make for great focal points!
Here’s a closer look at the cards.
I used the Orchid Collection for the first card.
For this one, I only used the darkest shade: Grand Fuchsia.
For this blue card, I stamped the leaves in Rose Gold. I decided to stack the ‘hello’ die-cuts for dimension. I totally love that gold glitter!
I wanted to try some non-traditional colors and created this white, yellow, black look. I always forget how glossy accents looks when it dries! Look at that gloss over the word ‘hugs.’
For this one, I stamped the flowers in black and the outline was heat set with Fuchsia embossing powder. I added glossy accents to the word ‘hello.’
Then I totally wanted to do something different. I stamped in the same manner, but decided to create layers and used Haute Stripes for the cardbase in Blue Diamond.
You can see all the cards together:
So what do you think?
