Hello friends! Welcome to part six of the Crafty Adventure Series. If you missed out, here are earlier links: #1 Personal Development, #2 Planning & Journaling, #3 Handlettering, #4 Stamps, and #5 Dies.
In today’s post, I will cover some of my favorite organization methods. 🙂
A few people have asked me about these bags I carry my Copic Markers in. Since I leave them at home, I don’t stress about how durable a bag is. It was inexpensive and flexible enough for me to grab markers and place them back. I did have cubes before. However, with the way I work, my desk got messy fairly quickly and it was a hassle to keep putting the markers back in inflexible storage units. If you don’t mind something like that, then they could work for you 🙂
Right now, I have 200 markers in this bag. You can buy dividers if you have less markers or if you have more but want to split it into two bags. I think about 150 fit best in each one.
This is how I used to store them. It’s helpful to divide into color families, but as mentioned above, you can use dividers in the bag.
I love my 72 set of Derwent Inktense Pencils. However, I couldn’t use them when they were in the tin box. I bought this case for it – it’s for 120 pencils but the pencils are too thick to fit into the 72-pencil case.
I use a coffee pod storage unit for my embossing powders. The only downside is that the Zing embossing powders don’t fit into it. However, I love the convenience of it being to the left of my craft area so I can grab them easily.
To store card bases, I use the embossing folder storage unit from Organize More. SO worth it! I make a lot of cards so I like to have card bases and pieces ready for me. I also store finished cards in card sleeves. I also use a fridge bin for my bulk cardstock cut down to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and a smaller organizer for cards I’m currently working on. 🙂
My favorite ink pad storage is from Organize More.
I use the dauber storage case for small die-cut pieces.
And, of course, my sequin storage has been discussed before here. 🙂 I have five full trays and am waiting to buy a sixth!
And my ink swatches are now in this cute album.
