In today’s post, I will cover some of my favorite stamps or stamp companies. I tend to post a lot of images and cards on Instagram that I never get to blog about so people are often asking me about some of the stamps I use. These are the products that I use most. They’re all linked at the end of the post 🙂
I adore Love Cynthia stamps! Cynthia is an illustrator from France who creates custom illustrations and logos. She started designing her own line of clear stamps a few months ago, and I knew I had to add them to my collection. She has also designed for Neat and Tangled! Here are some of my cards using her stamps:
I feel that label sentiments are an essential set for papercrafters. I use mostly Label Love by Altenew, but other companies have created their own (My Favorite Things, Neat and Tangled, etc.) You can simply stamp it in black, color or VersaMark so you can heat emboss it with embossing powder. Fussy cut by hand and add over card design using foam tape.
Painted flowers is a great floral set to have for expressive work. You can use the outlines alone and color in yourself. Or you can leave them as is. You can create your own backgrounds, heat emboss and watercolor, or stamp with just one or two layers.
I created expressive florals using the stamp outline by stamping with Distress Ink in Antique Linene and watercoloring with Winsor and Newton watercolor paints.
Essential for all crafters! They are so versatile, you can use them in so many different ways. You can create your own patterned paper. You can create very simple cards by just embossing the image on the background, adding some color and a sentiment. Here are some ways I’ve used background stamps:
I love creating city scenes. I feel like they are great for cards that are meant to inspire, motivate, or calm people. I have even used them for wedding cards and in shadow boxes.
Of course, animals make for the cutest cards! They are fun to color and for adorable scenes. Here are some of my favorite critter cards:
To qualify, answer the following question: What kind of stamps are your favorite (i.e. sentiments, florals, critters)?
