Nina-Marie YouTube Blog Hop_SponsorsNow for my cards. With Valentine’s Day coming up and me having a busy work schedule, I needed to make a set of simple but sweet cards. When I saw that Love Cynthia was releasing a new stamp set, I knew I had to have it. Good thing it arrived in time from France because I spent my whole weekend working on them.

A Rare Ruby Crafts - Love Card Set

I started by die-cutting the largest stitched heart die from the Lil Inker Designs Stitched Hearts Die set using masking tape. I used the negative (so that the heart part is open) over my card bases and blended with different inks from The Ton. They even out so smoothly! I love how they turned out. I did this for about 7 bases. For another background, I stamped Haute Stripes using Blue Diamond Couture Color. And for my last card, I stamped various small hearts all over the background with Caviar Hybrid (Copic-friendly ink) and then added circles of color over each heart.

I stamped a bunch of images from You and Me and Geek Love on Neenah cardstock and colored them while I watched CSI on Hulu 🙂 After I colored most of them with Copic markers, I used my Brother ScanNCut 2 to have them all cut. I added the couples over each cardbase and stamped different sentiments using Noir Couture Color. I felt like I didn’t need to add any embellishments so I left them as they were. I still have many images left over so I will make lots more cards 🙂 I hope you enjoyed all the inspiration from every stop!
