Sponsor Solo: Concord & 9th | Spoonful of Sugar

Good morning, friends. 🙂 Since I’m on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Design Team, I wanted to discuss the special posts scheduled weekly on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters blog. There is Sponsor Solo by Melissa, Coffee with Wendy on Wednesdays, and Thursday Cuppa Joe with Valerie. We also have special guests every month! Yesterday, Melissa featured small business Concord & 9th for Sponsor Solo and I decided to share my card today. 🙂

Rubeena - Spoonful of Sugar

I used Let’s Chat set to create a simple watercolored card with a touch of sparkle. All the images were stamped with Antique Linen and colored with my Winsor & Newton watercolor paints. I fussy cut and layered them over some fabric and doily to give a table look. For the sugar in the spoon and plate, I added glossy accents and clear sprinkles. I stamped the sentiment inside the cup and heat set with white embossing powder. Simple but sweet 🙂

Ruby, I love it! The faux sugar looks so real, pretty neat. Your card reminds me of a fancy coffee shop when I lived up north. They put doilies on your plate when you had a cup of coffee or tea. Also they had the rock sugar on a stick, I miss that place. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
