Hello friends! So, I’m not really a unicorn person. I didn’t understand the obsession until I saw this set from Mama Elephant. I think it’s because it’s a really fun set to color and create scenes with. I love anything that involves the sky – clouds, rainbows and all the various hues at different times of day. I have two cards to share with you today.
I started by adding watercolor to two watercolor panels and die-cut with the Madison Ave frame die. I set the outer scallop frame aside and only used the center pieces for the cards. I die-cut another set of frames with white cardstock.
I die-cut the rainbow and clouds with white cardstock. I stamped the unicorn and cut with my Brother ScanNCut (and I cut LOTS of them so I know I’ll be making more cards later). I colored the rainbow and unicorn with my Copic markers. I decided to cut the rainbow in half and use for both cards.
For the first card, I glued down the rainbow over one of the watercolor panels and then arranged two clouds at its end. I stamped the sentiment using Ranger black dye ink.
For the second card, I started with something similar but the sentiment was stamped with VersaMark and heat set with white embossing powder. I added a unicorn at the top and turned it into a shaker card.
Hope you liked my cards today!
