Hello! It’s been quite a while since I’ve entered challenges due to design team and guest design work 🙂 I saw Anna’s CASometry Challenge 2: Make 5 recently and thought I’d squeeze in a card for it. The basic rule is that you use one stamp set for all five stages of the challenge. I decided to use Clearly Besotted’s Caped Cuties. I ordered them immediately after the March release but never got around to creating a card. They are SO cute and would be fun for all kinds of scenes, which I struggle with. So double the challenge, right? Now check out my card…
I stamped the images using Ranger waterproof black ink and used my Brother ScanNCut 2 to cut the critters. I die-cut the city using the Framed City Die collection using watercolor cardstock. I colored the city as well as the negative section and the images with my favorite Mission Gold watercolors (ridiculously low price on Amazon right now!). These watercolors are so vivid and fun! Once they were colored, I glued them to a folded A2 (4.25″ x 5.5″) white card base (the critters were added with foam tape). I stamped the sentiment with the same black ink. That’s all. Let me tell you….coloring is so so relaxing. I have so many more Caped Cuties stamped and cut out so I know I’m in for a relaxing afternoon one of these days.
I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!
