Welcome back to Guesting with Ruby Naz!
Don’t forgive to visit my earlier guests. You can also find all of the posts under Guesting (in the bar menu at the top of my site):
Tell us a little about yourself and your craft journey.
Growing up I entered a few coloring contests and never won. My favorite gift was supplies for my Birthday and would make Ziggy cards for family and friends. I dabbled in all kinds of hobbies ( I would start something and never finish. One knitted slipper.. half of a scarf .. sewing projects unfinished…you get the idea) until I found the love of stamping in 2007 . When I bought my first Copic markers I found my hobby that I would stick with. A game changer… a life changer for me.
What are you most grateful for in regards to crafting?
Through my stamping journey I have found the best part is the friendships, sisterhood and sharing my passion with anyone who will listen. The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenges have been so rewarding and fill my heart with joy.
What inspires you to create?
Inspiration is every where and I take lots of photos of fabrics, accessories, art & flowers but, I rarely use them. Usually after inking up a stamp it all just comes together. With that said some times I wake up with an idea.
How do you personally define success?
Since I stared the coloring challenges .. success to me is hearing how crafters are enjoying participating or “taking” the 30 day coloring challenge.
What do you hope to improve on in the following year?
I want to take more classes… Like OnLine Card Classes… set a schedule for myself and do it daily.
What is the most wonderful part of being you?
Hummmm that I love to color?
What would you like to simplify in your life?
Emails! I stink at correspondence.
What advice do you have for new crafters?
Do what you love and try to take a little time out of each day for you.
Kathy’s coloring is phenomenal. She puts so much effort into each project of hers. Here’s the card she wanted to share with my followers today:
A big thanks to Kathy for being a guest today! I know she’s a very busy woman who also loves to spend quality time with loved ones so I appreciate she took the time to share a little bit of herself today with us. I had the pleasure of meeting her at Mama Elephant’s 3rd Birthday event last year and look forward to meeting her again because she’s a sweetheart! Don’t forget to follow her and color along with her. 🙂
GIVEAWAY: Kathy is generously offering a goodie bag to one lucky commenter today! Just leave a comment below sharing something about coloring in your life (what you like to use, how often you color, how it helps you, etc.) Thank you so much for stopping by today!!
