Clearly Besotted | April Teaser Day 1

Hello, friends! Thank you for stopping by today. I am sooo excited to be a guest designer again for Clearly Besotted. I am joining them for the countdown to the April release, and today is teaser day 1! Be sure to follow them on Instagram, Facebook, and their Blog.

All products will be available for purchase on Sunday, April 1 so hopefully you’ll be a little patient – this month’s release is quite adorable! They will be available for purchase at the Clearly Besotted Shop as well as Simon Says Stamp.

For today’s project, I used Fairy Tale Bears. I’m trying to get into the habit of making more scene cards since they intimidate me a bit. For this card, I started by stamping the girl and bear group with Hero Arts Intense Black Ink onto white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I fussy cut the image and set it aside.

I die-cut the front of my card base with the small window frame from Mama Elephant’s Basic Circles. I die-cut it again using a separate sheet of white cardstock and then used the next larger circle to die-cut a circle and set it aside. For the front of the card base, I blended Distress Oxide Walnut Stain over the MFT Stamps English Brick Stencil. I added the circle frame over the top and mounted it with foam tape.

For the sentiment, I stamped it from Sweetest Sentiments with Versamark ink and heat embossed in white. I trimmed it down and mounted it below the window frame with foam tape. I glued the colored image inside the card base behind the window frame. That was all. 🙂 I hope you liked my little scene. Be sure to follow the blogs below for more April release inspiration!!
