Hello, friends! I am so very excited to join the Altenew Build-A-Flower: Morning Glory Release today! You can go to the Altenew Card Blog or the Altenew Scrapbook Blog to see all the various projects featured using this new release.
I created a mother’s day card using the Build-a-Flower: Morning Glory set, along with a few other products.
I started by stamping the morning glory flower using Tea Party inks and the stems/leaves with Green Fields inks. I die-cut them and set them aside. I embossed a white card sheet with Dotted Scales Debossing Cover Die. This is such a gorgeous die that adds a beautiful touch to your cards. This is perfect to go with florals.
I glued the sheet to my card base. I arranged the Morning Glory images over the left side with foam tape. For the sentiment, I stamped ‘you are inspiring’ with VersaMark on black cardstock and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. I trimmed it down and mounted it on the card with foam tape. I die-cut the word ‘mom’ from Inline Alpha Dies and gold mirror cardstock and also mounted the letters with tiny strips of foam tape. That is all. 🙂
I hope you were inspired by all my work!
