OMG, hi there, crafty friends! I don’t even know where to start. I can finally share that I was invited to join the Altenew Card Design Team, and of course, I said yes!! It’s like a dream come true since I’ve been a fan of their company, team, and amazing products since they first launched in 2014 (the same year I started crafting). It’s like we were meant to be! Hard work pays off and dreams do come true so, my dear friends, do not give up. In celebration of this achievement, I created a few cards. You can find my other cards using Altenew products here. Altenew is featuring me on their blog today as well as sharing some of my favorite cards I’ve made plus a giveaway so go go go! Leave a comment there for your chance to win. 🙂
I actually created three cards, but because of my mom brain, I gave one to my mom’s friend before taking pictures of it. However, they are all in a similar style so you’ll get the idea.
I used Focus on You stamp + die set and soft Copic markers to color. Usually, I create bright or bold cards, but lately I wanted to try changing up the looks of my cards. I love experimenting with different styles and designs, and I hope that inspires you to keep having fun when you craft!
I used Distress Oxides + stencils for the backgrounds. Because I wanted to keep the colors light, I added a sheet of vellum to soften the tone.
I love the idea of a bouquet so I know I’ll be using this design often. These cards sit on my desk, and they really are a joy to stare at!
Thank you SO MUCH for visiting and for subscribing. I really am excited to share Altenew projects with you in the coming year! Stay tuned as I have another announcement to make next week! ♡ If you enjoy my work, be sure to follow me: Instagram | Facebook | Flickr | Pinterest | YouTube
