Hello, friends! Thank you for stopping by today. I was a guest again on the Spellbinders Blog last week. This post is part of a series featuring the Flower Garden Collection by Sharyn Sowell. You can find the first post here and second post here.
The Flower Garden Collection has been fun to work with. I decided to use the frame die from Card Creator Floral Panel Card set again and color it.
I started by die-cutting the insert die and the outside die frame at the same time out of textured watercolor cardstock and the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. I removed all the negatives pieces using the Tool ’N One.
I used my Polychromos pencils in shades of green, coral, and yellow to color the entire frame. I used darker pencils for some basic shading. Once I finished coloring it, I mounted the panel to my white card base with foam tape.
The sentiment was stamped with clear embossing ink onto black cardstock and heat-embossed in white. I die-cut it using the tag die and mounted it to the center of the frame with foam tape.
I hope you were inspired by this card. There is so much you can do with the Flower Garden Collection. Thanks to Spellbinders for their generosity for having me as a guest.
