Spellbinders | August Card Kit of the Month + Bonus Messy Watercolored Card using Dies
Hello, friends! I am so excited to feature the Spellbinders August Card Kit of the Month today! I am sharing how to create four easy, bright, and fun cards with a bonus messy watercolored card using just the dies and watercolors.
Their website provides the following information:
Subscribing to the Card Kit of the Month includes
- A Monthly Card Kit Containing: Dies, Sentiments, Paper, Envelopes & Embellishments. Contains at least 45 pieces and will create up to 10 complete cards!
- Project Inspiration: Each kit will feature project ideas with at least one detailed how-to instruction tutorial each month.

I have several projects for you that use products from the August Card Kit of the Month, available to order until August 31.
I used many elements from the August Card Kit of the Month, including dies, paper, stickers, foam squares, and ephemera. I created four cards easily. Look how they came together without much effort:
To die-cut the included papers, I used the Spellbinders Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.
And as a bonus, I was tempted to create a messy watercolor look focusing on the dies from the August Card Kit of the Month. I have been a big fan of Spellbinders dies, which inspired me to do messy watercoloring. I used these watercolors and watercolor paper with a round brush. I used the Spellbinders Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut.
I hope this kit inspires you to create today!
