Alcohol Ink Art with Altenew Refresh Your Alcohol Markers Blog Hop + Giveaways

Hello, friends! Today I am part of the Altenew Refresh Your Alcohol Markers Blog Hop today. I am sharing some alcohol ink projects that I hope inspire you to use the alcohol marker refills in fun ways!

You should have arrived from the sweet Laurie Willison’s blog. You can always start from the beginning at the Altenew Card Blog if you lose your place during the hop.

RELEASE

Check out the new release here! You can purchase the artist markers here.

PROJECT

Affiliate links may be used in this post. You can find the lists of my favorite supplies here.

The first project I have is an art piece done using the alcohol ink refills on Yupo heavyweight paper (5″ x 7″). I used the refills as alcohol ink (which is basically what it is) along with alcohol blending solution and a compressed air cleaner to move the ink around. Once it dried, I framed it.

For my last two projects, I decided to create a green background with the refills and use the Leaf Frame Cover die. Die-cutting Yupo can be a bit challenging so I ran it through my die-cutting machine twice. I finished off the “frames” with some gold sentiments.

Next on the hop is TaeEun Yoo!

Oh my Rubeena! Your projects are artistically bold and beautiful 🙂 I am glad you’re not asking me to choose a favorite because I don’t think I could do it! Thanks for the inspiration 🙂
