For today’s project, I created three bookmarks using You’re So Sweet.

I cut down watercolor sheets to 2″ x 6″ and stamped the floral images with a dark grey ink pad. I watercolored loosely with my Mission Mijello watercolors. I added the sentiment and finished it off with splatters. I have some vinyl bookmarks holders for these so they can stay protected when in use. Finally, I inserted some twine in the top holes. 🙂 I’ve been reading a lot lately so I am already using these! I hope this inspires you to create some of your own. The images were a perfect length for these bookmarks and you can do it on regular cardstock and color with pencils or alcohol markers, too. The possibilities are endless.

Beautiful bookmarks, Ruby! This brings back memories of the bookmarks that my Grandma used to make. I didn’t papercraft while she was alive. I really would have loved to create with her.
