Bright Watercolor Florals with Altenew Watercolor Markers Release Blog Hop + Giveaway
Hello, friends! I’m part of the Altenew Watercolor Markers Release Blog Hop today! I created a bright watercolor florals card for you using Blooming Bouquet and new watercolor markers, and I’m loving how vibrant they are. See below for details.
I started by stamping images from Blooming Bouquet with clear embossing ink on watercolor paper and heat-setting with platinum embossing powder. I used the watercolor markers and a regular brush with clean water to dilute the colors. I die-cut the images with the coordinating dies and set aside while I worked on the base. I had a 4.25″ x 7.5″ card base and a separate 4″ x 7.25″ sheet. I used the yellow watercolor marker to create vibrant lines across the sheet. Once that dried, I adhered it to the base and mounted the floral images over it. I stamped the sentiment under the flowers.
