My First Stamp Designs for Pinkfresh Studio | October Release Blog Hop (+ Giveaway)

Hello, friends! I can finally share my big secret! I am part of the Pinkfresh Studio October Release Blog Hop today, and I am revealing my first stamp set that I designed for this release. I am excited to introduce Fancy Blooms to you, which is the set I focused on for my projects today. Hopefully this inspires you to add it to your collection of lovely floral sets. 🙂 I created a set of watercolor cards using a muted, new-to-me color palette. Read more for details on a special promo and giveaways, of course!

You should have arrived from Rebecca Luminarias and next on the hop is Tiffany Solario. If you lose your place, you can start at the Pinkfresh Studio blog.

For my set of cards using Fancy Blooms, I stamped the images several times on watercolor paper with a black dye ink. I watercolored them using a new handmade minerals watercolor palette. If you’ve been a follower for a while, you know that I love using dark shades so this is different for me. I used the set My Favorite Things to Say for my sentiments, which I heat-embossed in white on kraft cardstock.

For the first card, I created a long card base and added some shimmery copper watercolor lines directly on the base. I added splatters and then mounted the images and sentiment with foam tape. I finished it off with some iridescent gems.

For my next card, I used a dark card base for a different mood.

And for my last two cards, I simply paired them with sheets I used from a 6×6 paper pad from the gorgeous Indigo Hills 2 collection.

Check out the new release here! We have two promos going on this week. The first promo is you will receive a free HUGS die with any purchase, as long as your order includes something from the new release (like my stamp set, wink wink). This die is exclusive to this release promo and will not be sold later. It is free while supplies last and no code is needed. It will automatically be added to any order that has new release product included.

The second promo is free/discounted shipping from October 8 to October 11 on orders $50+. You MUST use the code OCTFREESHIPWITH50. Shipping is free in the USA and $5.50 off for international friends.

The Pinkfresh Studio blog will be giving away the ENTIRE OCTOBER RELEASE to one lucky commenter. To increase your chances of winning, leave a comment on every blog on the hop. I am also giving away a $25 gift card from comments left on this post. All winners will be announced on Sunday, October 14th on the Pinkfresh Studio’s GIVEAWAY PAGE. Winners must check that page & claim their prize within 2 weeks.

Beautiful cards as usual! I don’t play with black cardstock as much as I should but you executed it beautifully. The shading in the flowers is so pretty!

“Fancy Blooms” is gorgeous, you really designed an incredible stamp and die set, you should feel extremely proud of yourself, it truly is a fantastic accomplishment!!! All four of your cards are beautiful, it must feel very rewarding to be using what you’ve designed. I love the background you created for your first card and I always love black backgrounds too. I love the way you watercolored all of the blooms, they all have a soft movement look to them especially your first card.

Congratulations on your first stamp set! That’s quite the achievement, and it is a beautiful set. I love seeing designers use their own stamps, because it’s so much fun to see their vision for what they’ve created. As one would expect, I think these bouquets complement your style beautifully. And those mineral paints are gorgeous; I might need to look into those, because I really like some of the more muted, but still rich tones they give. Thanks for sharing all your projects with us!

Congrats on your first stamp set with Pinkfresh Studios, your Fancy Blossom stamps and dies are fabulous!! The designs have a bit of a tropical look which I always love and they lend themselves well to watercoloring but I can see these working beautifully with many mediums as well as bright/bold, muted, and or soft colors as you have used today. All of your cards today are beautiful, I especially like the 3rd one with the pink/blue background. Thank you for a beautiful new stamp set and for the inspiration today. (
