Guest Designer || Picket Fence Studios 1st Birthday Party (Discount & Giveaway!)
Long time, my friend! This is a “party” I couldn’t miss. Picket Fence Studios turned one and has been celebrating all month long with special guests, generous giveaways, and a discount for stampers! Don’t worry, I’ll be sharing all the important details. Picket Fence Studios has always been so kind to me and invite me to be part of their celebrations so I just had to say yes. I’ve been so busy with my one-year-old and my new enamel pin business, The Gray Muse, that I haven’t made much time to craft. I missed watercoloring so much.
For today’s project, I used their Botan Peony stamp set.
I stamped it on watercolor paper using a black dye ink pad. I watercolored loosely with my Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors, using shades of pink, purple and blue for the petals. I used green for the stem. Once dry, I added black and white gouache paint splatters.
Since the image itself is large and bold, I wanted to coordinate it with a large sentiment. I stamped “hello” from Ways to Say Hello with clear embossing ink onto black cardstock and heat-set with white embossing powder. I trimmed it down and mounted it with foam tape.
DISCOUNT & GIVEAWAY
To celebrate this release, Picket Fence Studios is offering a 20% off discount on their entire store using the code PFS20 (case-sensitive) and is only good for 3 days so shop fast if you see anything you like.
I am also giving away a $100 giveaway certificate to the Picket Fence Studios shop, which was generously sponsored by them. To be eligible, please see details on my Instagram page (look for the same card image in my feed).
I hope you were inspired by my work.
